Tell us about what you do.
- Our company focuses on video game business on a global scale. I joined in summer 2022 as a prospective project manager, though I had no experience with the industry at the time.
I'm from China.
Right now, I'm going through hands-on training to become a project manager.
I've been put in charge of performing character quality checks for one project while learning how to use Maya, Unity, Photoshop, and other useful software. My colleagues have been very attentive, so despite my lack of experience, I don't feel overwhelmed by all the new things I have to learn. - Q
What would you say are the required skills for your job?

There are many skills that project managers need. There's management, communication, teamwork, research, and so on. I've been focusing on my management skills by taking care of character quality checks while learning programs like Maya, Unity, and Photoshop. I feel that my firsthand experience at the company has been steadily improving my skills.

What's the most important skill to you when working?
- Teamwork is the most important to me. A good team is formed when everyone can trust and offer advice to each other. Plus, having friendly co-workers makes working itself more enjoyable.

What kinds of people would you want to see join the company?

People who are kind and come from many different backgrounds. I want to be friends with people from all over the world, and learn about their cultures and values. It also makes it easier to travel abroad if you know people on the other end. (laughs)

- I want to turn my game ideas
into international hits and leave my mark on the world.
